Southern's Stars Set to Soar

The SFNL's best football and netball talent will again take centre stage in pursuit of representative glory this Saturday as part of the 2017 Worksafe AFL Victoria Community Championships.

Following its drought-breaking senior football Interleague victory over Ellinbank & District FL in 2016, Southern will this year host Central Highlands Football League in blockbuster Senior and Under 19 football matches at Marriott Waters Reserve, Lyndhurst, as it aims to continue its rise up the AFL Victoria rankings.

In addition, the league's senior netballers will do battle with the best from the Central Highlands in search of their first Interleague trophy, while a Springvale & District Netball Association Under 17 representative side will take on CHNL in an exciting curtain raiser match.

Excitement is building ahead of the big day, which is one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the SFNL calendar. Don't miss you chance to see Southern's best in action, get down to Marriott Waters Reserve on Saturday for what is sure to be another historic day for the SFNL.
