South East Suburban Football League

The South East Suburban Football League is an integral part of the history of the SFNL. Formerly instituted in October 1963 after a merger of the Caulfield-Oakleigh District and Eastern Suburban leagues, the SESFL is one of the three precursor leagues that helped form the current Southern Football Netball League, with many clubs still competing in the SFNL today. The SESFL also accepted a number of Federal FL clubs following the competition’s disbandment in the early 1980s.
