Set Penalties
Bailey Howarde #49 of the Doveton Eagles was cited by the officiating umpire for intentionally or carelessly striking Rory Goldsmith #18 of Dingley during the 4th quarter of the Round 2 Under 19s Match between Dingley and Doveton Eagles at Souter Oval on Saturday 13 April 2019. Bailey was offered a two (2) match set penalty which was accepted.
Matthew Dalla-Libera #25 of the Port Melbourne Colts was cited by the MRP for intentionally striking Daniel Campisano #20 of Dingley during the 4th quarter of the Round 2 Division 1 Senior Match between Dingley and Port Melbourne Colts at Souter Oval on Saturday 13 April 2019. Matthew was offered a one (1) match set penalty which was accepted.
Todd Bastion #6 of Mordialloc was cited by the MRP for intentionally or carelessly striking Matthew Herbstreit #8 of St Pauls during the 3rd quarter of the Round 2 Division 1 Senior Match between Mordialloc and St Pauls at Ben Kavanagh Reserve on Saturday 13 April 2019. The MRP determined that Todd had no case to answer and withdrew the report.
Owen Lewis #32 of Murrumbeena was cited by the MRP for intentionally striking Thomas Wilkinson #24 of Springvale Districts during the 4th quarter of the Round 2 Division 2 Senior March between Murrumbeena and Springvale Districts at Murrumbeena Park on Saturday 13 April 2019. Owen was offered a two (2) match set penalty which was accepted.
Tribunal Hearing #201904
Ryan Stringer #24 of East Brighton was cited by the MRP for intentionally engaging in rough conduct against Bailey Watkins #21 of Hampton during the 2nd quarter of the Round 2 Division 2 Senior Match between Hampton and East Brighton at Peterson Street Reserve on Saturday 13 April 2019.The case was sent directly to the Independent Tribunal. Ryan pleaded not-guilty at the Independent Tribunal on the evening of Tuesday 16 April 2019 and was found guilty and received a one (1) match suspension.
Tribunal Hearing #201905
Ryan Semmel #55 of Mordialloc was cited by the MRP for intentionally charging Liam Herbstreit #3 of St Pauls during the 3rd quarter of the Round 2 Division 1 Senior Match between Mordialloc and St Pauls at Ben Kavanagh Reserve on Saturday 13 April 2019. The MRP offered Ryan a set penalty of two (2) matches. Ryan contested the set penalty at the Independent Tribunal on the evening of Tuesday 16 April 2019 and pleaded not-guilty and was found not-guilty. Ryan received no suspension and is free to play.
