Nominations are flooding in thick and fast for potential inductees into the SFNL Hall of Fame in 2017.
Just days remain to get your Hall of Fame nominations in before the closing date on Wednesday 15 March.
Up to six inductees will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017, with the inductees to be announced mid-year. A formal Hall of Fame event will follow shortly after to celebrate their induction.
Nominations are able to be made to the Hall of Fame sub-committee by SFNL board members, SFNL administration, SFNL member clubs and members of the public. The criteria details that nominees must have demonstrated attributes including longevity, quality of performance, integrity, sportsmanship, good character and promoted the values of the SFNL or its forerunners, the FFL, ESCFA and SESFL.

In addition, SFNL clubs are also invited to submit nominations for SFNL Life Membership, Outstanding Achievement and Distinguished Service awards. As per the Hall of Fame last year, any recipients of these honours will also be invited and recognised at the event. The criteria for SFNL Life Membership, Outstanding Achievement and Distinguished Service can be found below.
