This should be a very competitive matchup, with Caulfield one of the in-form teams of the competition at the moment, while East Brighton has shown plenty of promising signs.

The Bears took away a big confidence boost after their upset of Keysborough two weeks ago and will look to continue a two-game winning streak.

The Vampires showed against Hampton they can compete in tough games of football, but it’s these kind of games they’ll rue in their finals aspirations.

Caulfield by 19 points.

Murrumbeena v Mount Waverley (Murrumbeena Park)

The in-form team of the competition will host a side eager to bounce back after being demolished by the ladder leader.

Murrumbeena has won six games on the trot, a streak which includes wins against Doveton, Highett and Caulfield.

Mount Waverley got hammered by the Eagles last week and will be keen to atone, but it will be tough to do so against at the Beena Arena.

Murrumbeena by 30 points.

Hampton v Skye (Peterson Street Reserve)

This game represents another chance for the home side to continue on their winning form, having won two in a row and three of their last four.

Hampton has overcome a tough start to the season and has roared into finals contention and will have chance to move one more game closer.

Skye has shown promising signs in patches throughout the season and had its moments against Murrumbeena last week.

Hampton by 21 points.

Highett v Clayton (Turner Road Reserve)

Highett became the second team in a row to upset Keysborough and impressively did it on the road to climb to fourth on the ladder.

The Dogs sit a game behind Keysie in third, but with the Burra playing the Eagles, this is a good chance for them to close the gap, especially if they can get a big win here.

As it has all season, Clayton has struggled to put together four quarters of footy and it will be difficult for it to do so on this occasion.

Highett by 44 points.
