Last week the Black Rock Football Netball Club became the latest SFNL club to hold a
Love the Game information session.
The Jets' session was held last Tuesday in the lead up to last weekend's League-wide
Love the Game Round.
Black Rock Vice President, Andrew Ferguson, commented: “Great presentation with lots of matter of fact realities and statistics on gambling in this day and age. Relatable stories and good tips for avoiding regret if you are going to bet.”
Community Educator, Tracey Collins, said “the guys agreed that the connection between sport and gambling is much more noticeable these days. This makes the Love the Game program so relevant, and by being a part of it, the Jets are helping their players and supporters to stay focused on their passion for the game.”
The Hallam Hawks also held a
Love the Game information session the previous week, with general feedback from the club being overwhelmingly positive.
Remember – “Love the game, not the odds”.
