DIVISION 1
Mordialloc is back into the top five by the skin of its teeth with a strong 52-point win against Bentleigh at Bentleigh Reserve on Saturday.
The Bloods looked to be in control throughout the majority of the contest, booting seven goals in the second half, with Todd Bastion starring with three majors.
Despite winning and dropping down to sixth, Port Melbourne Colts have done their finals chances a big favour with an upset victory against Cheltenham at Jack Barker Oval.
The Colts trailed by 16 points at the main break, but piled on nine goals to four in the second half to secure the win, with Mitch O’Neill and Matt Sondergeld best afield.
East Malvern has escaped with a 16-point win against Oakleigh Districts at Princess Highway Reserve in round 15.
The Panthers were kept honest by the bottom of the table Districts throughout the game, with Liam Sumner and Mackenzie Bristow each kicking three goals, while Jake Mullen booted four for the hosts.
Dingley has vaulted into the top two with a resounding 46-point victory against St Pauls at Souter Oval on Saturday.
The Dingoes led by just 14 points going into three quarter time, but surged home with six goals in the final term, with young gun Remmi Faulkner-Wood impressing with three goals alongside Jayden Gregory.
St Kilda City has kept its finals hopes alive with a 37-point win against Highett at Turner Road Reserve on Saturday,
The Saints led at every change and were in control for the majority of the game, save for the final term when the Dogs kicked five goals to one.
Jordan Tabakman and Josh Cochrane were the visitors’ best.
DIVISION 2
Murrumbeena has kept its spot in the top three with a big win against fourth ranked Doveton Eagles by 31 points at Power Reserve.
The Beena jumped out of the blocks with a seven-goal opening term and controlled the game from there, with Nick Brazil starring with six majors, while defender Matt Lello was also impressive.
Keysborough has taken home the four points against Chelsea Heights at Beazley Reserve, winning by 50 points.
The Burra rarely looked troubled throughout the contest as they marched towards win number 13, with Riet Pal, Geoff Humphreys and Matt Carnelley each booting three goals.
After a long season, Skye has moved off the bottom of the division two ladder with a 15-point win against Caulfield at Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve.
The Bombers trailed at each change, but were able to come home with a wet sail with three goals to four behinds in the final term, with Jarryd Karadeas and Michael Kelly leading the way while Ben Evans booted three goals.
Seven goals from Matt Wetering has helped Springvale Districts to a 57-point win against East Brighton at Hurlingham Park.
After leading by just four points at the half time break, the Districts piled on nine goals in the third term to help secure the win, with Mladen Josic best afield.
Hampton has locked in its spot inside the top five and will play finals this season after a 21-point win against Heatherton at the Toolbox.
The Hammers surged ahead with a nine-goal first half to create an unassailable lead, with Michael Ashman starring with six majors in a best on ground performance.
DIVISION 3
Black Rock has completed an epic comeback against Ashwood, winning by two points at McDonald Reserve after being down by 37 points at half time.
The Rockers were in all sorts of trouble, but piled on eight goals to two in the second half to complete the stunning 39-point turnaround and moving them back into the top four.
Andrew Ferguson and Cory Durie were named Black Rock’s best while Tim Smith was Ashwood’s best.
Hampton Park also completed a strong comeback, turning a 25-point half time deficit into a six-point win against Clayton at Meade Reserve.
The Redbacks booted six goals to two in the third term to cut the margin to a point at the final break, before booting two goals in the last to snatch the win.
Peter Dye and Travis Davis each kicked four for Hampton Park while Sean Winsall was named best afield.
Endeavour Hills has moved back into the top two after a resounding 101-point win against Cerberus at Barry Simon Reserve.
The Falcons led from start to finish, booting nine goals in the first half and overcoming inaccuracy in front of goal to secure the four points.
Shaun Richards booted five goals for the victors and was named best on alongside Ben Carter.
DIVISION 4
Hallam has moved into fourth spot on the ladder with a big 157-point win against Lyndale at Barry Powell Reserve.
The Hawks have been in good form recently and it showed, piling on 16 goals in the second half to completely dominate the game.
Lyndhurst has maintained its spot on top of the ladder with a big win against Moorabbin to the tune of 105 points.
The Lightning were simply too good for the Roos, leading from start to finish and holding the normally high scoring Roos to just three goals for the game.
South Yarra is up into second spot on the ladder following a decisive 24-point win against Frankston Dolphins at Overport Park.
The Lions burst out of the gate with a seven-goal opening term, and though they only booted three the remainder of the game, it was enough to hold on for the victory.
Dillon Taylor and Jack Callaway each booted three goals while Mark Symons was best on ground.
Carrum Patterson Lakes kept its finals chances alive with a 91-point rout of Dandenong at Roy Dore Reserve.
Needing a big win to boost their chances, CPL delivered with a nine-goal first half doing the damage early, with Alex Wilson booting six majors while Daniel Courts was best on ground.
