The Southern Football Netball League's Pride Round continues on Saturday 18 July, with Caulfield Football Netball Club taking on Highett Football Netball Club in a special B2 netball clash at Rowan Road Reserve – Court 6.
The match, beginning at 2:50pm, is more than just an exciting contest on the court. It is an opportunity to celebrate Pride Round and recognise the values of respect, diversity and belonging that make community netball such a welcoming environment for everyone.
Pride Round is an opportunity to acknowledge the players, coaches, umpires, volunteers and supporters who help make netball a place where everyone feels accepted and valued.
Community sport has a unique ability to bring people together, creating lifelong friendships and strong club cultures. Pride Round highlights the importance of ensuring every person, regardless of their background, gender identity or sexual orientation, feels comfortable participating and being themselves.
Caulfield and Highett are proud to be part of this important initiative, helping showcase how sport can unite communities both on and off the court.
With two competitive sides set to face off, spectators can expect an entertaining B2 contest played in the true spirit of community sport.
