Hallam made the jump to Division 3 in 2026, after winning the Division 4 premiership in 2025.
Hallam's 2026 season proved a difficult campaign, with the Hawks unable to register a victory.
While the scoreboard ultimately tells a disappointing story, a season such as this can also provide an opportunity to assess the playing list, identify areas requiring improvement and determine what needs to change ahead of the next campaign.
The off-season will be important for the Hawks as they look to rebuild confidence, strengthen their list and establish a platform for a more competitive 2027 season. Recruitment, player retention, pre-season preparation and developing greater consistency will all be key considerations.
For Hallam, the challenge now is to turn the disappointment of 2026 into motivation. The priority will be to regroup, address any issues and give the playing group the best possible opportunity to move forward next season.
