The Southern Football League extends its sincere condolences to the Dingley Football Netball Club community on the extremely sad passing of Shane Franklin.
Shane was an incredible servant and supporter of the DFNC over many years. Shane will be remembered for his tireless work to build the club and the passion with which he approached things relating to the club.
The SFL are saddened by Shane’s passing and our thoughts are with Shane’s partner Helen, their daughter Emma and the entire Franklin family.
The SFL along with East Brighton and Dingley football clubs will use the beyondblue Cup to acknowledge and mourn Shane’s passing by lining up pre-game and participating in a minute’s silence.
