The SFNL is supporting the E.J. Whitten Foundation’s community program “Time to Test”, which raises awareness for men’s health.
The “Time to Test” Health Hub has something for everyone - whether you want to discuss your health with a nurse, talk about the health of a family member of friend, or simply have some fun and enter the handball competition, the friendly team will be there from 12-4pm at the following events:
Saturday 14th September Division 2 Grand Final – Jack Barker Oval
Saturday 21st September Division 1 Grand Final – Moorabbin Oval
The Health Hub has nurses on hand to provide free blood pressure checks and discuss the avenues available for prevention and improvement.
As an incentive to engage, the Foundation are giving away $100 at random to someone who has a blood pressure check at the Health Hub.
And for the kids there is a handball competition, with the highest scorer winning an AFL team hoodie of their choice!
