Round 5 – Southern FM ‘Match of the Round’
Round 4 saw the SFNL Radio team take the ‘Caravan of Coverage’ down to Jack Barker Oval to call the Division 1 Senior Game between Cheltenham & Bentleight. It turned out to be a cracking game so for those who missed it, you can hear the boys call

BLK Player of the Round
Daniel Vaughan - Cheltenham Football Club
Vaughan was a vital contributor in his side's narrow victory over Bentleigh, starring with his clean disposal by foot off half back in the windy conditions. His ability to read the play was second to none, allowing him to rack up plenty of possessions. In such a tight contest it was Vaughan that proved the difference.

Leader Shooting Star
Xavier Pauli - St Kilda City Football Club
Xavier was instrumental last round booting 9 goals in a great display of contested marking and accurate kicking. Xavier uses his strong work rate to get up the ground and provide a target for his teammates. In only three games this season Xavier has kicked 17 goals and should add to this tally by season’s end, a very exciting to watch.

Independent Tribunal results from Tuesday 12/5/2015 are as follows:
• D Connick (Ashwood FC) was found Guilty of Striking. D Connick received a four (4) match suspension
• J Whelan (Lynday FC) was found Guilty of Intentionally Making Front on Contact. J Whelan received a six (6) match suspension
