BLK Player of the Round

Nathan Evans BLK

Nathan Evans – Mordialloc FC

The BLK Player of the Round for Round 13/14 is Nathan Evans of the Mordialloc Football Club. Evans was simply electric, using his explosive pace to find a ton of possessions on the ball in his side’s sensational win. His bravery at the contest didn’t go unnoticed either – despite his diminutive frame he went in as hard as anybody for the footy, wearing a few big hits for his efforts. His gut running was exceptional as he pushing himself to the point of exhaustion and beyond, which was inspiring stuff.

Congratulations Nathan.

Leader Shooting Star

CPL

Andrew McCormack – Carrum Patterson Lakes FC

The Round 12 Leader Shooting Star Award Nomination has been awarded to Andrew McCormack of the Carrum Patterson Lakes Football Club. This season is shaping up to be Andrew’s breakout year with the club, having been promoted to the Senior side this year on nine occasions. He’s played some very good football along the way, gaining valuable experience from his senior teammates. This has shown with Andrew coming back to the Under 19s side over the past three games and bringing that experience back and playing with more confidence, hardness around the ball and becoming a leader to his teammates. This was evident in his best on ground performance last week.

Congratulations Andrew.
