Southern FNL Clubs strong on the TAC Message

For the past 3 years the TAC have set out a mission to local sporting clubs to promote the current campaign. The TAC provides a criteria to leagues in which they will distribute to the clubs. The Criteria states a number of things that has be done by the club to promote the current campaign and the more things ticked off the criteria the more money each club will get from the TAC as they reward participating clubs.

With Division 1 clubs having a bye last weekend, this weekend they will have the opportunity to do what Skye, Black Rock , Hampton Hammers and many other clubs did last weekend.

Two Division 1 clubs that have been driving the message very strongly is Port Melbourne Colts and Mordialloc. These two teams will hope to follow in the succession of the clubs last week.

All clubs had a very successful in term promotion of the message from TAC with Skye getting over 5000 post engagements on their social media posts, while promotion at the clubs was extremely impressive with everyone getting involved and all the players wearing the armbands.

Mordialloc FNC have been extremely pro active on social media constantly promoting the “Phone Down. Buckle Up” Message.

All social media posts have had fantastic engagements and everyone around and involved club all for the way they are promoting it.

With Mordialloc hitting form in the right time of the season there will guarantee a great attendance for their game against Dingley, which is a fantastic opportunity to prompt the signage, armbands and bar mats that will be on display at the club.

Port Melbourne Colts will be looking for the same result this weekend as they take on table toppers Cheltenham at home as they have been on a fantastic run leading into finals, similar to Mordialloc this will be a fantastic opportunity to promote the message.

The Colts have also been sharing all the tiles on social media and been ticking off all the criteria provided by TAC. The club will be displaying signage, barmats and their players will be wearing the arm bands.

Port Melbourne Colts’ clash against Cheltenham is the feature match this weekend and you can watch it live on SouthernTV by clicking the big red button below!

Be sure to get down to your local club today to raise awareness and help promote the message of road safety.

The Southern FNL congratulates and recognises those who are promoting the TAC’s message in any possible way they can because of the importance of the message. We all look forward to seeing all the armbands and signage out on game day this weekend!
