Promising young netball stars Ariana Hearst and Haylee Krepp have both been selected to represent Dandenong Valley 15 & Under in the State Titles in Kilsyth on the 5th and 6th of October.
The duos selection is a nod to the exciting talent coming through the SFNL Netball system, with both players enjoying stellar seasons in 2019.
Playing in her first season at Murrumbeena, Hearst is a versatile attacking mid-courter/goaler who is eager to learn and develop.
The talented youngster has been a member of representative squads since days as a junior Under 11 netballer.
Including her playing commitments with Beena, Hearst also kits up for representative netball for Revolution Sports Club and Eastside Netball Club with both clubs continuing to develop her all-round skills.
Hearst’s ultimate goal one day is to play in the Victorian Netball League (VNL) with her sights set on trialling for the Netball Victoria Talent Academy later this year.
But for now she is hungry to continue her development starting with a strong showing in the U15 State Titles with Dandenong Valley.
Haylee Krepp has featured for several clubs in the SFNL over the past few seasons, taking her talents far and wide across the competition.
Predominately featuring in goals or wing-attack, Krepp started with Dingley before moving across to Chelsea Heights in 2016.
During this period she also represented the Vic Indoor side in consecutive seasons.
Another successful season with Chelsea Heights followed in 2017 where Krepp also went on to represent Gippsland Storm.
Transferring across to Heatherton in 2018, Krepp’s development continued where she made it into the Dandenong Valley regionals.
This season saw yet another switch of clubs, this time to Oakleigh District where once again the young gun earnt selection for Dandenong Valley.
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing however, with Krepp enduring six operations on her leg along the way.
But at full fitness once again she is eyeing off another State Titles appearance with plenty of excitement.
