The Southern Football Netball League is proud to celebrate Pride Round, a special weekend that recognises and celebrates diversity, inclusion and respect throughout community football.
This year's featured Women's Football Pride Round match sees Endeavour Hills Football Netball Club host Murrumbeena Football Netball Club under lights at Charles Green Reserve, with the first bounce at 7:30pm.
More than just four competition points, Pride Round is an opportunity for clubs to demonstrate that football is a game where everyone belongs. It is a chance to celebrate the diverse people who make our clubs stronger while reinforcing the importance of creating safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for players, volunteers, officials and supporters.
Friday night's clash promises to be a fantastic showcase of Women's Division 1 football, with both sides eager to make their mark in one of the league's most meaningful rounds of the season.
Pride Round is about standing together as a football community and recognising that everyone deserves to feel accepted, respected and valued, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
Community football has the power to connect people from all walks of life, and Pride Round highlights the role clubs play in fostering inclusive spaces where lifelong friendships are formed and everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the game.
By wearing the Pride colours and supporting this initiative, Endeavour Hills and Murrumbeena are helping promote the message that football is for everyone.
With two proud clubs coming together for an important occasion, supporters can expect a competitive game played in the spirit of respect, inclusion and community.
Whether you're supporting Endeavour Hills, Murrumbeena or simply celebrating Pride Round, come along and be part of a night that showcases everything community football stands for.
