DIVISION 1 - Round 7

Oakleigh District dominated East Brighton in the second and third quarters as they ran away with an 85-point victory at Widdop Crescent Reserve.

A slow start would cost Mordialloc as Clayton would hold on for a 14-point win at Ben Kavanagh Reserve.

After trailing at quarter time, East Malvern would lead from there on as they defeated Cheltenham by 11 points at Dunlop Reserve.

St Kilda City came from behind, holding St Pauls scoreless in the final quarter as they claimed an eight-point victory at McKinnon Reserve.

The top of the table Dingley remains the class of Division 1 as they defeated Bentleigh by 65 points at Souter Reserve.

DIVISION 2 - Round 8

Skye broke away after a tight first three quarters to defeat Chelsea Heights by 14 points at Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve.

At Keysborough Reserve, Hampton broke the game open in the third quarter as they defeated Keysborough by 57 points.

Behinds on the scoreboard was the only thing that separated the two sides at Murrumbeena Park as Murrumbeena came out on top of Springvale Districts by five points.

Finally, some joy down at Black Rock as they claimed their first win of the season over Heatherton at Ross Street Reserve.

Caulfield needed all the time on the clock as they defeated an inaccurate Highett side by four points at Turner Road Reserve.

DIVISION 3 - Round 8

Sandown remain at the bottom of the Division 3 ladder, as Endeavour Hills inflicted them with a 166-point thumping at Barry Simon Reserve.

Ashwood held on at Essex Heights Reserve by 14 points from a fast finishing Moorabbin side.

Dandenong made it a two wins on the trot as they came from behind to defeat Lyndhurst by one point at Marriot Waters Reserve.

A fast start was enough for Mount Waverley as they defeated South Yarra by 10 points at Mayfield Reserve to remain a top the Division 3 table.

At Roy Dore Reserve, Hallam led from the outset and defeated Carrum Patterson Lakes by 39 points.

Doveton Eagles host Lyndale next week at Power Reserve to finish round 8.
