SDNA turns Pink!

Clubs, players and spectators will unite for a cause this weekend as the Southern Football Netball League and the Springvale and District Netball Association host Pink Sports Day.

As players take the netball courts and footy fields on Saturday, everyone is invited to rally together to raise awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

More than 20,000 Australian women and men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

You can get involved by donating a gold coin and players and supporters are encouraged to wear pink on the day, with pink socks, pink ribbons and pink bibs welcomed.

"SFNL and SDNA are proud to once again join forces in support of a wonderful cause - Breast Cancer Network Australia," the SFNL's netball operations coordinator Erin Naismith said.

"This annual event holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to be hosting it again on Saturday, May 10. SDNA will be running a cake stall throughout the day, and we encourage all players, spectators and coaches to show their support by wearing pink.

"We can’t wait to see our community come together for this meaningful day."

All proceeds will be donated to BCNA.
