The 2nd week of SFNL’s Netball competition was filled with a couple of nail biters and some solid wins for teams in A grade.

A1 Division
Dingley 1 78 defeated Mordialloc 1 34
Dingley are quickly establishing their dominance at the start of the season, scoring 137 points in the first two rounds with a 240.35 % goal average.

Aspendale Arrows 1 43 defeated Cranbourne 1 34
Cheltenham BYE

A2 Division
Cheltenham 2 40 defeated St Kilda City 1 39
It was a tough match between these two teams with Cheltenham sealing the win by a goal in the dying seconds.

A3 Division
Aspendale Arrows 2 43 defeated South Yarra 1 35
A nice win for Aspendale positions them at the top of the ladder. Also with 2 wins 0 losses are Springvale Districts in second and East Brighton Vampires in third. Aspendale plays East Brighton in Round 3 this coming week which should shape up to be a good competitive game.

Doveton Doves 1 32 defeated Carrum Patterson Lakes 1 30
A close win by Doveton leaves both Doveton Doves and Carrum Patterson Lakes both at one 1 win and 1 loss positioning them 4th and 5th on the ladder. Mordialloc 2 is the only team to have had 2 consecutive wins.
