The 6th round of SFNL’s Netball competition began again this week with rainy conditions. That didn’t put too much of a dampener on the games with a couple of nail biters for A3 and some decent wins for other 'A' divisions.
A1 Division
Cheltenham (1) 43 defeated Caulfield Bears (1) 18
A tough game for Caulfield Bears coming up against Cheltenham. Cheltenham were in control throughout the game securing the win to place them top of the ladder in front of Dingley in second by percentage. Both Cheltenham and Dingley are undefeated with all three games played having had a bye each now.
Port Melbourne Colts (1) 43 defeated Murrumbeena (1) 24
Another tough game here with Murrumbeena against top of the ladder. They put up a good fight but Port Melbourne Colts dominated the game. With the win they have continued an impressive undefeated season. Next week Port Melbourne take on third on the ladder, Dingley (2), which should prove to be a good game.
