Role Description

Title: Treasurer

Reports to: President & Executive Committee

Position Overview

  • The primary purpose is to ensure the club’s financial management practices are compliant and records are accurate and readily accessible as required.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed financial records of all expenditure and receipts.

  • Prepare club budget and monitor carefully.

  • Ensure financial reports are available to executive committee.

  • Show evidence that money received is banked and evidence for all money paid out.

  • Arrange and provide information for preparation of club audit.

  • Preparation of annual financial report.

  • Ensure club financials comply with all statutory bodies i.e. ATO, CAV, ASIC.

Experience & Qualifications


  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills

  • Financial/bookkeeping experience.

  • Current Working With Children Accreditation.


  • Qualifications in Finance & or Accounting.
