Relegated to SFL Division Three, Moorabbin is looking to rebuild the framework that helped it to the 2012 flag.
New coach Adam Walsh, a club stalwart, is excited about the return of many of those premiership players.
“We’ll have about 10 of the 2012 team back in harness this season and along with a swag of young players who are set to take the next step, we should have good balance,” he said.
Among those returning are premiership skipper Haydn Schipper, centre half forward Mick Dettmann and ruckman Dave Sheehan, who will make the journey from Swan Hill each weekend.
