The Sandown Cobras Football Netball Club (Division 3 Southern Football League) invites applicants for a Reserves Coach for 2015.
This is an exciting opportunity to come to an ambitious club who wants to go places.
Sandown is home to a well renowned Racecourse, and Greyhound venue, a destination on the V8 Supercar calendar and also home to the Sandown Football Club (formed in 1962)
As well as having 3 Senior teams, the last 4 years has seen the clubs operation expand to also include Netball, an All Abilities team for people with an intellectual disability, and the creation of a junior pathway with Parkmore JFC.
With recently installed new lighting, the club will have the ability to play Night Football in 2015 and its current facilities are about to undertake a $1 million renovation in readiness for 2015.
The successful applicant will have access to a talented and energetic playing list that is thriving for ultimate success having made finals across all our teams over the last 4 years with a desire to go to the next step.
Coaching Position – Applicants will need to demonstrate;
The ability to embrace the club as a whole and its direction and strongly guide the culture alongside team leaders.
The ability to develop and implement a style of play and team plan.
An understanding of modern football trends.
Exceptional communication skills both on and off the field.
A strong commitment to grow, develop and teach players of all ages.
Knowledge and understanding in improving existing player skills/football nous
The ability to shape and form a strong coaching team. Bring a fresh, energetic and positive attitude along with being organised and structured.
The ability to bring/attract players will be looked upon favourably.
Remuneration negotiable with suitable applicant.
