The Southern Football League this morning held the annual Grand Final Breakfast at Woodlands Golf Club in Mordialloc.
The event was a great success and attended by over 150 people with representatives from the League, Partners and Clubs.
Guest speaker Mark “Choco” Williams was great entertainment with the floor warming to his sensational stories about premiership success!
AFL Victoria Community Development Manager – Gary Brown presented the final nominees for the 2014 Senior Coach of the Year including Ben Murphy, Ben Walker, Sam Anstey and Shane Morwood.
The Australian Football Coaches Association (AFCA) had the difficult task of selecting a standout Coach of the Year and Ben Murphy was announced the winner.
Ben Walker and Sam Anstey were interviewed by Ian Dougherty as MC, in preview to the Division 2 Senior Grand Final tomorrow while Ben Murphy and Shane Morwood, were interviewed in preview to the Division 1 Senior Grand Final on Sunday.
The morning was a great launch to what should be a brilliant weekend of SFL Grand Final football.
