SFNL Netball Half Way Ladder Round Up

 

We’re halfway through the SFNL netball season and all eighteen divisions are really starting to take shape. With big winners in every division, the second half of the season is looking to be as thrilling as the first. Here are your big movers, winners and losers in each division.

DIVISION - A1

Ladder Leader: Dingley FNC 1

In the Hunt: Caulfield FNC 1 + Edi-Asp NC 1 + Cheltenham FNC 1

The Skinny: Dingley FNC 1 have set the pace with a perfect 8-0 start, but Caulfield FNC 1 and Edi-Asp NC 1 remain close enough to keep the pressure on heading into the second half of the season.

DIVISION - A2

Ladder Leader: St Kilda City FNC 1

In the Hunt: Dingley FNC 2 + St Pauls FNC 1 + Edi-Asp NC 2

The Skinny: St Kilda City FNC 1 and Dingley FNC 2 are locked together at 7-1, with percentage the only thing separating them at the top heading into the second half of the season.

DIVISION - A3

Ladder Leader: Heatherton FNC 1

In the Hunt: Dingley FNC 3 + Parkdale Vultures FNC 1 + Carrum Patterson Lakes FNC 1

The Skinny: Heatherton FNC 1 have opened up a clear gap with an undefeated 8-0 start, while Dingley FNC 3, Parkdale Vultures FNC 1 and Carrum Patterson Lakes FNC 1 shape as the main challengers in the run home.

DIVISION - A4

Ladder Leader: Parkdale Vultures FNC 2

In the Hunt: Caulfield FNC 4 + Dingley FNC 4 + Cheltenham FNC 4

The Skinny: Parkdale Vultures FNC 2 sit unbeaten at the top, but Caulfield FNC 4’s huge percentage keeps them right in the conversation as the biggest threat in the second half of the season.

DIVISION - B1

Ladder Leader: Port Melbourne FNC 2

In the Hunt: St Kilda City FNC 2 + MCC Panthers NC 1 + Hampton Hammers FNC 1

The Skinny: Port Melbourne FNC 2 have been the clear standout with an unbeaten 8-0 start, while St Kilda City FNC 2 lead the chasing pack heading into the second half of the season.

DIVISION - B2

Ladder Leader: Dingley FNC 5

In the Hunt: Bentleigh FNC 2 + Highett FNC 1 + Cheltenham FNC 6

The Skinny: Dingley FNC 5 hold top spot at 7-1, but Bentleigh FNC 2 and Highett FNC 1 are only a game behind, setting up a tight race at the top across the second half of the season.

DIVISION - B3

Ladder Leader: Dingley FNC 6

In the Hunt: Lyndhurst FNC 1 + Hallam FNC 1 + Black Rock FNC 2

The Skinny: Dingley FNC 6 sit a game clear on top, but with Lyndhurst FNC 1 and Hallam FNC 1 both at 6-2, the race for top spot is still well and truly alive.

DIVISION - B4

Ladder Leader: Parkdale Vultures FNC 4

In the Hunt: Dingley FNC 7 + Carrum Patterson Lakes FNC 2 + Keysborough FNC 2

The Skinny: Parkdale Vultures FNC 4 sit on top by percentage, but Dingley FNC 7 are level on points at 7-1, setting up a genuine fight for top spot in the second half of the season.

DIVISION - C1

Ladder Leader: Port Melbourne FNC 3

In the Hunt: South Yarra FNC 6 + Springvale Districts FNC 2 + Lyndale FNC 1

The Skinny: Port Melbourne FNC 3 hold top spot at 7-1, but South Yarra FNC 6 are still within reach, while Springvale Districts FNC 2 and Lyndale FNC 1 remain locked in the finals mix.

DIVISION - C2

Ladder Leader: Cheltenham FNC 7

In the Hunt: St Kilda City FNC 4 + Lyndhurst FNC 2 + Parkdale Vultures FNC 5

The Skinny: Cheltenham FNC 7 and St Kilda City FNC 4 are locked together at 7-1, with percentage giving Cheltenham the edge at the halfway mark.

DIVISION - C3

Ladder Leader: Parkdale Vultures FNC 7

In the Hunt: Narre South Saints NC 1 + Cheltenham FNC 8 + Dingley FNC 8

The Skinny: Parkdale Vultures FNC 7 are unbeaten at 8-0 and have created a handy gap, while Narre South Saints NC 1 and Cheltenham FNC 8 are leading the chase at 6-2.

DIVISION - C4

Ladder Leader: Dandenong West FNC 1

In the Hunt: Hallam FNC 3 + Skye FNC 2 + Doveton Doves FNC 2

The Skinny: Dandenong West FNC 1 have been flawless through the first half of the season, leaving Hallam FNC 3, Skye FNC 2 and Doveton Doves FNC 2 chasing the unbeaten ladder leader.

DIVISION - D1

Ladder Leader: Black Rock FNC 4

In the Hunt: Mordialloc FNC 4 + Lyndhurst FNC 3 + St Kilda City FNC 5

The Skinny: Black Rock FNC 4 have powered through the first half unbeaten with a massive percentage, but Mordialloc FNC 4 and Lyndhurst FNC 3 are both sitting at 7-1 and ready to challenge in the run home.

DIVISION - D2

Ladder Leader: Carrum Patterson Lakes FNC 4

In the Hunt: Dandenong West FNC 2 + Bentleigh FNC 5 + Skye FNC 3

The Skinny: Carrum Patterson Lakes FNC 4 have taken control at the halfway mark, sitting two games clear on top, while Dandenong West FNC 2 and Bentleigh FNC 5 lead the chasing pack.

DIVISION - D3
