SFNL Season Launch Sets the Tone for 2026

The Southern Football Netball League officially kicked off the 2026 season with its Season Launch held on March 30 at the RSEA Function Room, bringing together clubs, sponsors, and key figures from across the league.

With representatives from across all divisions in attendance, the night was a chance to reconnect ahead of a big season and set the tone for what’s to come both on and off the field.

Club officials, players, and league partners came together in a relaxed setting, with plenty of familiar faces in the room. It was an opportunity to acknowledge the support behind the scenes, from volunteers and committee members to sponsors who continue to play a big role in the league’s growth.

The launch also provided a platform to highlight what’s ahead for the 2026 season, including continued development across both football and netball, and a strong focus on growing the visibility of the competition.

Events like this are always a good reminder of how much goes into local footy beyond game day. From organising fixtures and facilities to supporting clubs at all levels, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to keep the league running.

With Round 1 now underway, the energy from the season launch has carried straight into the opening games, with clubs eager to get their campaigns started.

It’s shaping up to be another big year for the SFNL.
