Lyndale’s senior men faced a challenging 2026 campaign in the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL), finishing sixth in Division 4 with four wins and 13 losses as the Pumas continued to develop their playing group.
One of the positives for Lyndale was its capacity to remain competitive and generate scoring opportunities, providing a foundation to build upon heading into the off-season. The challenge will be turning those promising passages of football into more consistent performances across four quarters.
With a young playing group and strong community support behind the club, Lyndale will be looking to use the experience gained throughout 2026 as motivation for the season ahead.
The appointment of Jason Hamilton as senior coach for 2027 signals a fresh chapter for the Pumas. Hamilton brings extensive coaching experience and a focus on providing structure, developing players and building a positive football environment.
While the senior men fell short of a finals appearance in 2026, the foundations are there for Lyndale to continue progressing. The focus now turns to preparation for 2027, with the Pumas aiming to improve their consistency, strengthen their performances and climb the Division 4 ladder.
