The Mordialloc Football Club has released the following statement:
It is with great sorrow that we report the tragic loss of Mordialloc Football Club president and local legend Ricky Hart, tragically taken from us on the weekend.
Everyone at the club passes on their sincerest condolences to Maxine, Sam and Mitchell.
Ricky, a larger than life character, was the driving force behind the resurgence at the club and for this, his humour, his inspirational leadership and much more, he will be sorely missed.

The SFL extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mordialloc Football Club President Ricky Hart.
The league also extends its sympathies to the Mordialloc Football Club committee, players and members on the tragic passing of a much-loved clubman.
