The Southern Football Netball League is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonathan Auditore as the League's new Director of Umpiring.
Auditore has been involved with the SFNL umpiring fraternity since 1994 and maintains strong relationships with Member Clubs and the League administration. His wealth of knowledge and experience will be of great benefit to the League and the SFNL Umpires Association as they look to implement several new initiatives in 2019.
SFNL CEO Lee Hartman said he was excited by the appointment, adding that Auditore was a ready-made replacement for the outgoing Peter Marshall, which will ensure a smooth transition to the role.
"I am thrilled that Jon has taken up the role of Director of Umpiring, Jon’s experience will see a smooth transition from Peter Marshall as Jon worked with Peter for a number of years," Hartman said.
"Jon will work with us at the league to help implement some new initiatives to support the umpires including the introduction of the Match Review Panel and the transition to a new training base.
"I know Jon will continue to work with all the stakeholders and members clubs to ensure our umpires are supported the best way possible. We welcome Jon on board and wish him all the best."
