Heighters Seek Female Footballers

Chelsea Heights are going full steam ahead with plans to launch its inaugural women's team in 2018, with the club on the look out for prospective players.

The club hosted a Women's Football Info Session last month to introduce prospective players to Beazley Reserve and meet coach Michelle Vernall, who was officially appointed to the role in November.

Vernall has a strong fitness background, having worked as a personal trainer for the last 15 years, and has playing and coaching experience in a variety of sports. She has previously played competitive football at Parkdale and Berwick, as well as Gaelic football and state-level netball, and also coached basketball and soccer teams. This wealth of experience ensures Vernall is well-equipped to lead the Heighters' inaugural women's team this season.

The club invites all prospective female footballers to come along to and see what the club has to offer.

All female players interested in joining Chelsea Heights should contact Women's Football Coach Michelle Vernall on 0425 417 939.
