CPL Secures 2018 Coaches

The Carrum Patterson Lakes Football Netball Club are excited to announce that Cain Padman has been successful in securing the Senior Coaching position for 2018.

Previously the coach of the Lions' reserves side, Padman took over the top job in a care-taker capacity following the exit of Terry Philippe mid-way through the season, and was recently appointed as its new Senior Coach on a two-year deal.

The process saw many fantastic and highly qualified people apply for the position, but the clubs feels that Padman is the right fit for its current scenario. The club has a young and developing list, albeit very talented, and so a young, passionate, developing coach that already has the support of the list made the decision a no-brainer.

Padman is also bringing along some exciting and experienced players to the Den to assist, with further signings to be announced in the near future.

Meanwhile, the club has announced that John Psaras has been successful with his application for the Reserves Coaching job for 2018 season.

Psaras took the reins of the Reserves team during the 2017 season following Padman's promotion - a brief, but positive and professional stint at the helm.

Psaras will join the rapidly building football department down at the Den, and will be heavily involved with the continuing development of the Lions talented and youthful list.

The CPLFNC would like to thank all the unsuccessful applicants for the time and interest.
