Murrumbeena will be fresh as they face East Brighton in the Preliminary Final on Saturday at Meade Reserve.

Murrumbeena earned the week off after their defeat of Oakleigh District and will be confident to maintain their undefeated season.

East Brighton came into finals in winning form, before dropping a competitive Qualifying Final to Mordialloc.

The Vampires have proved that their best can match it with the top sides and will need it to upset the classy Beena.

Murrumbeena will get the result here and move to one game away from the perfect season.

Murrumbeena by 15 points.

 

PRELIMINARY FINAL 2

Mordialloc vs Oakleigh District (Meade Reserve)

Saturday 9 September - 2:00pm

The second Preliminary Final is between Mordialloc and Oakleigh District and has the possibility to go down to the wire.

Mordialloc came into the finals out of form, before they were able to get the best of the Vampires.

The Bloods will be refreshed and will rely on the strong midfield core.

The Oaks come to the Preliminary Final with their strongest squad of the season, allowing flexibility at both ends of the ground.

It is nearly impossible to pick a winner in this game but will go with the fresher side.

Mordialloc by two points.
