The Southern Football Netball League advises that Heatherton Recreation Reserve is unsuitable for the Women’s Football Qualifying and Eliminations Finals this weekend, which is holding significant surface water due to recent heavy rain.
As a result, this Saturday’s Women’s Finals (26 August) will be moved to Meade Reserve, Haughton Road, Clayton.
Whilst this is not ideal, the League envisage that moving games this week will give Heatherton Recreation Reserve enough time to be in the best possible condition for future finals weeks.
