BLK Player of the Round

Andrew Ray

Andy Ray - Clayton FC

The BLK Player of the Round for Round 11 is Andy Ray of the Clayton Football Club. Razor won plenty of the footy off half back, taking several strong intercept marks and he hardly missing a target all day by hand or by foot. But Ray became the hero for the Clays when, despite suffering from cramp and exhaustion, he sent a booming drop punt straight through the big sticks from 45m out in the final seconds to give the Clays an epic 1-point victory.
Congratulations, Andy.

Leader Shooting Star

Highett

 James Burns - Highett FC

The Round 11 Leader Shooting Star Award Nomination has been awarded to James Burns of the Highett Football Club. James has a high workrate and an ability to read the game, which allows him to be in the right positions and gives him more opportunities to make an impact on the game. He has been consistent in the first half of the season and looks a future senior player to come through the Under 19s system. Congratulations James Burns of the Highett Football Club.
