SFNL netball coaches were given the opportunity to increase their skills and knowledge.
A Development Coach face to face workshop was conducted at RSEA Park. 8 coaches completed the final stage of their learning to receive their Development Coach accreditation.

Julie Masterson, Barb Traeger, Tanya Hiscock and Tess Wardrop (Caulfield Bears), Mel Quigley (Parkdale Vultures), Chris Dent (Murrumbeena), Ua Houkamau (Port Melbourne Colts) and Don Tulley (Cheltenham) for their dedication to the sport and their Clubs.
The course consisted of 2 hours of theory work followed by 2 hours of practical demonstrations. 14 netball players attended and were guided through attacking and defensive skills, under the direction of the coaches.
Further coaching workshops are planned to support all SFNL netball coaches.
