The SFNL advises that the Match Review Panel (MRP) and Independent Tribunal have completed their review of the weekend’s football:

 

Set Penalties

Mark Stevens #1 of Heatherton has been cited by the MRP for engaging in rough conduct against Patrick Morrissey #17 of Chelsea Heights during the 3rd quarter of the Round 1 Division 2 Senior Match between Chelsea Heights and Heatherton at Beazley Reserve on Saturday 6 April 2019. The player was offered a one (1) match set penalty which was accepted.

 

Tribunal Hearing #201901

Christian Middleton #12 of St Kilda City was reported for using abusive, insulting or obscene language towards or in relation to an umpire in the 2nd quarter of the Round 1 Division 1 Senior Match between Port Melbourne Colts and St Kilda City at JL Murphy Reserve on Friday 5 April 2019. Christian pleaded guilty at the Independent Tribunal on the evening of Tuesday 9 April 2019 and received a two (2) match penalty.

 

Tribunal Hearing #201902

Luke James #11 of Murrumbeena was cited by the MRP for intentionally or carelessly striking Bryce Sutton #17 of Keysborough in the 2nd quarter of the Round 1 Division 2 Senior Match between Keysborough and Murrumbeena at Keysborough Reserve on Saturday 6 April 2019. The case was sent directly to the Independent Tribunal. Luke pleaded not-guilty at the Independent Tribunal on the evening of Tuesday 9 April 2019 and was found guilty and received a three (3) match penalty.

 

Tribunal Hearing #201903

Michael O’Driscoll #18 of Chelsea Heights was cited by the MRP of intentionally or carelessly striking Jayden Arter #23 of Heatherton in the 4th quarter of the Round 1 Division 2 Senior Match between Chelsea Heights and Heatherton at Beazley Reserve on Saturday 6 April 2019. The MRP offered Michael a set-penalty of two (2) matches. Michael contested the set-penalty at the Independent Tribunal on the evening of Tuesday 9 April 2019  and pleaded not-guilty and was found guilty and received a four (4) match penalty.
