SFL Appoints New General Manager – Operations

The Southern Football League has strengthened its management team by welcoming Adam Sparrow as the new General Manager – Operations.

Adam comes to the SFL with a vast amount of sports industry experience, particularly in competition, account and event management.

Notably, Adam facilitated significant change at the South Metro Junior Football League in his time there as Football Operations Manager.

“After assessing a strong group of candidates, the SFL are delighted to welcome Adam to the team who we believe will build on the already solid foundations,” SFL CEO David Cannizzo said.

Adam, a previous SFL player has a great understanding of the role and looks forward to joining the team.

"This presents a fantastic opportunity to join the SFL during a period of significant growth. I am excited by the opportunities that lie ahead for the SFL and member clubs. Particularly with the continued development of the Netball and the Under 19 Football competitions."

The SFL look forward to working with Adam to continue to drive the business plan in relation to football and netball.

Adam will begin his role on Monday 27th April.
