New Faces to Lead Lyndale

The Lyndale Football Netball Club has announced its coaching group for 2019, to be led by newly-appointed Senior Coach Rodney Ellis.

Ellis was previously an assistant coach with the Pumas some 20 years ago, and returns to the club following several years of coaching with the Cranbourne Junior Football Club.

Most recently, Ellis has spent the last two seasons as a senior assistant at Moorabbin Kangaroos and brings to the club his 18-year-old son Josh, who will add to the Pumas' young playing group.

Ellis will be assisted off field by Gerard Rabot, a man with an extensive coaching background in both football at Cranbourne JFC and also cricket in the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association.

Pumas forward Shane Thomas has also been appointed playing assistant coach for 2019.

The club has also announced Hayden Laszlo as its Reserves Coach for 2019. Laszlo crosses over from Moorabbin where he was a Reserves Assistant as well as playing in their senior side, and he will be aided by both Alex Bertucci and Brenton Miles.

Following a turbulent 2018 season, the club is excited with these appointment as they go to work on making Lyndale FNC a force once again.
