New Coach, President for Bloods

Last year's Division 1 Grand Finalist Mordialloc will enter 2018 with a new face at the helm after Michael Brown was appointed as its new Senior Coach.

Brown will replace Daniel Quinn, who steered the club to the premiership decider after taking over as caretaker mid-way through the season. Quinn chose not to seek reappointment.

Brown joins the Bloods with an impressive football resume. He has spent the last six seasons at De La Salle Old Collegians, guiding the Under 19s to a premiership before a three-year stint as a Senior Assistant.

During his time as a coach, Brown has had plenty of success in player development, fitness coaching and in finals, and will no doubt ensure the Bloods will be again hard to beat in 2018.

In other off-field news from Ben Kavanagh Reserve, David Cox has been elected as the new club president, replacing the outgoing Terry Evans.
