The SFL Netball competition is set to launch bigger and better than ever in 2013!
Whilst 2012 was a terrific inaugural year for the competition, 2013 promises to include more teams, more colour and more excitement!
Some quick updates on the League:
- At this stage there will be two grades (A and B). It will be a 13 week season (commencing April 20) + 3 weeks of finals, with re-grading to occur after the third round.
- Players need only be 14 years and 8 months to participate in the SFL’s Netball competition.
- In all likelihood training courts under lights at the SDNA will again be available this season on Tuesday evenings. Any team interested should contact Matt at matt.duck@sfl.com.au.
- Fees have remained unchanged for this season, with an all-inclusive team fee of $600 for the entire team and for the entire season (players must however be VNA registered, and many players may already have this).
If you know anyone keen to umpire, please encourage them to contact the SFL office. We are currently recruiting netball umpires (possessing at least a C-Grade Badge). Umpires are paid $30 a game.
