LEE NORMAN joined the SFNL Board in 2017 after taking on an observer role in the middle of 2016.
Lee’s career has focused on people and culture in professional organisations. She has held executive roles for the last 15 years where she has been responsible for strategy, vision, direction and organisational sustainability. She has worked in a range of industries from finance to engineering and automotive, with two highlights being a key member of the team that established and ran a V8 Supercar team and also working for the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She is an accredited Executive and Life Coach and holds an MBA (HR).
Lee has been actively involved in sport since her youth where she competed in many sports including interschool AFL and Netball. However, it was softball that she excelled at an elite level, for over a decade she represented Victoria in the Under 16s, Under 19s and at open age level. Later into her softball career, she coached Under 16 and Under 19 girls to a number of Victorian Championship wins with the Waverley Softball Association.
Lee is currently involved with the Caulfield Bears Auskick program, Carnegie Netball Club and Mentone Pony and Adult riding clubs and a member of the Richmond Football Club. She continues to enjoy competing in equestrian events along with her daughter and sister.
Lee is excited to be able to utilise her expertise to add value to the SFNL.
