The SFL Board have been extremely pleased with the growth and progress of the League in the last 12 months and with David’s leadership, the SFL will continue to strive for innovative change and engagement with the SFL community and the broader football community.

SFL Board Chairman, Mark Seymour said “David has made a tremendous impact since commencing in the CEO’s role and the SFL Board were unanimous in their belief that he was the man to lead us for the next three years.”

“We are pleased that he has agreed to a three year term as this will allow him to consolidate initiatives introduced in 2013 and really put his stamp on the role allowing the League to continue the steady improvement it has shown in recent times.”

“He is without doubt one of the best young sports administrators I have had the pleasure of working with and the Board and member Clubs are confident that he is the right person to continue to re-establish the SFL as a force in local football.”
