After yesterday’s State Government announcements the League has been left with no alternative but to cancel the balance of the 2021 season.
It is a very disappointing outcome from what has been another frustrating year.
Please see attached a joint statement with the other Metropolitan Leagues in regards to the season finishing up.
We will now, over the next few weeks, work out the roadmap for season 2022 including the awards etc from this 2021 season.
Thank you to all the Club Committee’s, Volunteers, Coaches, Players, Members & Supporters of the SFNL for their collective efforts in 2021, we will bounce back .
