The Southern Football League officially kick-starts its 2015 season this weekend at Sandy by the Bay, Trevor Barker Oval, Sandringham with a special launch event followed by a Division 1, Round 1 football match under lights.
With the great support of Spot On Storage & Aston Ryan Malcolm, the exclusive Season Launch function welcomes VIP guest speaker the Honourable Daniel Andrews, Victorian Premier as well as CEO of beyondblue, Georgie Harman and CEO of Netball Victoria, Michelle Plane. The SFL will formally announce its community partnership with beyondblue and make a historic announcement.
Following the formalities, last year’s Division 1 Grand Finalists East Brighton and Dingley will battle it out for the beyondblue cup under lights, officially ushering in the new season.
5.00pm – Curtain Raiser match – Under 19s (East Brighton v Dingley)
7.30pm – The beyondblue Cup (East Brighton v Dingley)
