"The Hampton Football Club is pleased to announce that Ben Lockwood has been appointed as Senior Coach for the 2015 SFL Season.
Ben comes to the club with an outstanding track record as a Senior Coach in SFL Division 1 with Chelsea Heights and the Hammers are looking forward to improving further on their Preliminary Final appearance in Division 2 in 2014.
"We believe that Ben is the man that can take us to a new level, we're very excited about him joining the Hammers" said Hampton President Mick Bennett.
Lockwood took Chelsea Heights to Division 1 finals appearances over the last three years, reaching the First Semi Final with a very young playing group in 2014.
Lockwood replaces Chris Worner as the senior coach at Peterson Street after his two seasons at the helm.
"Chris did a fantastic job over the past two seasons and we thank him for his dedication" Bennett said.
