Caulfield bringing together 1994 Southern league premiership team

Caulfield had “The Judge’’.

But it was fellow forward Grant Sheedy who laid down the law to Collingwood Districts in the 1994 Southern league Division 1 grand final at Princess Park.

With Sheedy kicking 10 goals, the Bears won the premiership under the coaching of Neil Ross, now a recruiter for Fremantle Dockers.

It remains the only senior flag won by Caulfield, which was formed in 1993 after a merger between Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association clubs St Kevins Ormond and St Andrews Gardenvale.........
