DAVID COUTTS has been a member of the Southern Football Netball League board since November 2009.
David commenced as the League Treasurer in 2009 and continued with this role until 2015, when he became the League Chairman for the 2016 financial year.
He was a member of the SFNL’s award-winning radio program, the Sunday Football Netball Show, for the 2015 season and stepped down at the end of the year after becoming Chairman.
He has resided in Mordialloc for the past four years and has worked in Dingley Village for 10 years, making him very aware of the footprint of the SFNL and its member clubs.
David is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand since 2002.
He has worked in medium-sized suburban practices and is now a senior manager at Ashfords Accountants & Advisory in Dingley, where he has been for the past 10 years. He is the head of business advisory at Ashfords, which works closely with small and medium businesses across all industries in the south east of Melbourne to provide them with financial and strategic advice.
David is a constant at SFNL venues during the winter months and is a firm believer that community engagement commences through participation at community grassroot clubs, whether as a player, volunteer or parent.
