On Wednesday 29th June, five men and one woman will be honoured for their contributions to local football with induction into the Southern Football Netball League Hall of Fame.
Kingsley Ellis, David Luttrell, Garry Matlock, Mark Seymour, Ken Shaw and Margaret Torpy will join last year's 22 inaugural inductees into the SFNL Hall of Fame, which recognises outstanding service given to the SFNL and its precursor competitions in capacities as a player, administrator, official, coach, umpire, media person or life time achiever.
The SFNL will commemorate their inductions with a prestigious function to be held at the Woodlands Golf Club, which will also serve as a reunion of the Federal Football League, one of the forerunners to the current SFNL.
